Control it from your doorstep

Each light comes with a remote (about 16 ft / 5 m range), so you can adjust it without climbing a ladder:

• Two color temperatures — switch between a warm 3000K glow and a crisp 6000K white at the press of a button. There's also a built-in switch on the fixture itself.
• Dim it up or down — set the brightness to suit the evening.
• 4-hour and 8-hour timers — choose how long it stays lit after dusk, so you're not burning charge all night when you don't need it.
• On / off — full manual control whenever you want it.

Two ways to mount

• Pier mount (base fitted): the 7.7" square base plate sits flat and screws down onto brick columns, stone pillars, masonry caps, and flat column tops 7.7" or wider.
• Pole mount (base removed): lift off the base plate and the fitter slides over a standard 3" outside-diameter lamp post.

Common questions

• How bright are they? These are ambiance lights, not floodlights — a warm, welcoming glow across both pillars that marks your entrance, not harsh security lighting. Use the remote to dim them down or brighten them to suit the evening.
• How long do they stay lit? That's up to you — set a 4-hour or 8-hour timer from the remote, or leave them on. A full day's charge lights them from dusk through the evening. Runtime is longest in summer with direct sun, and shorter on overcast winter days, as with any solar fixture.
• Do they work in winter or cloudy weather? Yes — they still charge on overcast days, just with a shorter run each night. For best results, place them where they get direct daytime sun. • Will they fit my pillars? The base is 7.7" square, so it sits flush on brick columns, masonry pillars, and flat column tops of that size or larger. It is larger than a standard 6x6 wooden post (which measures 5.5"), so on a 6x6 the base would overhang. Remove the base plate and it mounts on any standard 3" pole.
