Do these really run on solar alone?
Yes — 100% solar. Each light has a built-in panel that charges through daylight and a sensor that switches it on at dusk and off at dawn. No wiring, no batteries to buy, no mains power.
How long do they stay lit at night?
On a good day's charge, they'll glow through the evening. Run time is longer in summer and shorter through short, overcast winter days — that's normal for any solar light. The Victorian and Antique Gold models include a timer, so you can set a fixed run time instead of leaving them on all night.
Are they safe to leave out in rain and winter?
Yes. Our fixtures are weatherproof cast aluminium with sealed glass, built for year-round outdoor life.
Will they fit my posts?
Check the base of the light against the top of your post — the post should be at least as wide as the base so the fixture sits securely. The Craftsman has a 5.5" square base (fits a standard 6x6 post, or a 3" pole with the base removed). The Antique Gold has a 5.7" square base (6x6 posts, or a 3.2" pole). The Victorian has a 7.7" square base, suited to brick columns and masonry pillars, or a 3" pole. Full dimensions are listed on each product page.
Warm or cool white?
All three ranges switch between a warm glow and a crisper white, and let you adjust brightness. The Craftsman dials between warm (3000K) and cool (6000K) white. The Victorian and Antique Gold include a remote for changing colour temperature, dimming, and setting a timer without a ladder.
