Do these really run on solar alone?
Yes — 100% solar. Each light has a built-in panel that charges through daylight and a sensor that switches it on at dusk and off at dawn. No wiring, no batteries to buy, no mains power.
How long do they stay lit at night?
On a good day's charge, expect around 6–8 hours of glow. Run time is longer in summer and shorter through short, overcast winter days — that's normal for any solar light.
Are they safe to leave out in rain and winter?
Yes. Our fixtures are weatherproof cast aluminium with sealed glass; the Craftsman range is IP65-rated. They're built for year-round outdoor life.
Will they fit my posts?
The Craftsman lights stand about 15″ (38 cm) and the Victorian about 20″ (51 cm), sized for standard gate and fence posts. Before ordering, check that the top of your post is at least as wide as the light's base so it sits securely.
Warm or cool white?
The Craftsman range lets you dial between warm (3000K) and cool (6000K) white, plus adjust brightness. The Victorian range is a fixed warm white.
